Whitchurch Community Town Website

Launched on Saturday 1st May 2010 at the Gill Nethercott Centre.
It belongs to the people of the town and its management
is fully accountable to Whitchurch.

The success depends on a friendly inclusive approach that encourages participation and ownership. The Whitchurch Association now oversees the site and has established a small volunteer team which is looking for local people of all ages, skills and interests to join it and make it a site of which our town can be proud.
The site was funded by SEEDA as part of the Town Centre Improvements Programme.

To have events, businesses, groups or other information listed please contact the site:

The Gill Nethercott Centre
The Gill Nethercott Centre is a new modern community centre opened on 28th April 2007 right in the heart of the small Hampshire Town of Whitchurch.
The Centre was the dream of the late local resident and councillor Gill Nethercott who saw the vision of providing a venue that could be used by all activities in the Town.
The modern Whitchurch Library is housed upstairs and is accessible by lift. Car parking is immediately adjacent.
A top-end AV system has been installed, designed for business, presentation and private use and can be hired out to users. Contact the Centre on 01256 896270
